|Description:||About one quarter of the circle remains. A cylindrical base finished with fine toothed chisel. A carefully worked scamillus, a carefully scratched circle 0.025m. farther in. On outer face a lightly scratched horizontal line, a line of weathering and a vertical line.|
Dull white marble with dark lines and bands, highly laminated like that of Sounion column series.
Material, workmanship and context suggest association with columns of Ionian series, perhaps as base.
