Category:   Pottery
Description:   Rim of skyphos. Orange black on buff.
ADDENDA 2018: Two joining sherds to a large deep bowl with flaring rim. No other features are preserved.
The exterior decoration consists of a medium rim band (0.025m) and two medium bands or (Lefkandi banding?) below the handle zone. The main decoration is panelled and consists of a central triglyph with a space filling net of joining semicircles and exterior fringe. This is flanked by narrow side triglyphs with ladder fill.
The interior is monochrome.
The paint is streaky and badly flaked in places. It appears to have originally been fired evenly dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
