Title:   Closed Shape Fragment: Patterned

Description:   Fragment from squat jar with flaring rim, two or three handles on shoulder.
Black paint on dull brown ground.
ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a small closed shape with scar from broken away feature (spout or handle).
The exterior decoration consists of a medium band at the junction of the neck and the shoulder and two medium bands running below the shoulder zone. In the shoulder zone there is a wavy line.
The paint is thick, evenly applied, and fired black. The vessel seems slightly over-fired. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
