|Title:||Statuette : Eirene|
|Description:||High circular base with elaborately moulded double conical profile.|
Standing figure with weight on left leg, right leg bent and drawn back.
She wears Doric chiton with overfold and kolpos, a stephane and a cloak drawn up over the back of her head like a veil. The cloak falls in a loop of drapery over either shoulder; its heavy folds frame the figure and cover it to below the knees at the back.
The figure 's right arm is raised, the elbow bent, the fingers lightly clasped to hold some object now missing; traces of attachment along inside of upper arm (scepter, torch ?). The left hand holds a long slender cornucopia, topped with fruits and with a large crescent. This arm was made separately and attached, and had become separated from the figure, when found.
In the top of the head, just behind the stephane is a small pin hole.
A few chips missing from the base. The surface on the upper right leg somewhat corroded, but the condition in general excellent.
