Description:   Late Roman C plate fragment mended from two pieces. At the upper edge of the fragment is part of a wheel-run groove. In the center a stamped design of a human figure with a great deal of hair (or an aureole?) around the head, facing, with the left hand raised. The figure is broken off at the left of the fragment below, and the details of the other arm and the costume are not clear.
Light red clay with red wash.
Context:   Below water channel, late Roman fill, disturbed.
