Description:   Two non-joining fragments, each preserving a small bit of rim to full height and a bit of the floor. From a flat-floored plate without foot. From the edge of the floor, the low vertical wall, convex on exterior, flares outward. Wall at top thickened to form a plain rounded rim.
Coarse brownish micaceous clay with bits, fired red on interior surface. A dull reddish glaze, much peeled, applied on interior and on rim.
ADDENDA "Pompeian red ware", late intrusion in deposit; 1st. c. A.D.? [JWH]
Notes:   0.35m. to bottom.
Context:   Well.
