Agora Deposit: F 13:3
Title:   Well 9, Upper Fill
Category:   Well
Description:   Upper fill (POU and dump). Evidence for 4th-c. use (Lower fill of Agora XII) consists of a few 4th c. fragments found at bottom mixed with Hellenistic [Agora XXIX, p. 450]. The fill from top to bottom, although the earth has changed from time to time, has been a uniform very heavy late hellenistic deposit [nbp. 1101].
The tile fragment A 549 found over Well 9 is catalogued with Deposit E-F 12-14.3 (Disturbed Building Fill) since it is believed to be a roof tile of Building A, cf. nb. p. 827.
