Title:   Pithos Settling Basin
Category:   Drain
Description:   Located in front of west end of Stepped Retaining Wall, Heliaia. Filled in and covered in last stages of grading of area after construction of Middle Stoa.
Pottery from settling basin nondescript. Single bowl is unusual type which may be early form of long-petal, but also resembles imbricate bowls of ca. 200.
