Description:   Broken away at back, bottom and left.
From top down: ovolo, fillet, beak. One end mitered for inside corner.
Considerably weathered; color gone. Like Theseion anta cap, but larger. Fifth century finish.
Pentelic marble.
Assigned to the Temple of Ares.
Joined with A 702 (Ν 721), October 1952. Cf. also A 602 (Η 632).
Context:   From a marble pile north of Odeion.
