Title:   Wall Socle with Moldings
Category:   Architecture Marble
Description:   Two non-joining fragments of molded wall socle.
a) Top, bottom and front preserved; left end broken; right end and back worked down with single point probably in late times. In top a trace of a pour channel.
b) Top and part of front alone are original.
Probably to be assigned to the Odeion, to surround the interior of the auditorium at level of top of seats. Molding consists of cymatium with ovolo above and fascia below.
Pentelic marble.

Context:   Found in marble piles between north front of Odeion and Giants.
