Title:   Lion's Head Spouts Fragments

Description:   a) Upper part of head. Broken in front, below and to right. Preserves only small trace of lion's mane and outline of head. Much weathered.
b) Lower jaw fragment. Broken above, in front and on both sides and in back. Preserves bottom surface, and trace of mane and beginning of jaw of lion. Weathered.
c) Lower jaw fragment, broken as fragment b).
From the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion.
Island marble.
