Description:   In top at right end, cutting for a double T-clamp, leading to next backer; 0.29m. from right end cutting for Π-clamp leading back; 0.56m. from (broken) left end trace of a Π-clamp leading back; holes for lewis centered 0.53m. and 1.93m. from right end: three pry-holes. Right end intact, left end broken away. Back scooped out in mid part. Cf. Triglyph A 2977.
Excellent anathyrosis at right end and lower edge of back.
Clearly an early block reused.
Pentelic marble.

Context:   In west face of Late Roman Fortification just north of tower at S.W. corner of Library of Pantainos.
