Collar rim squared off on top; shallow spout; strap handles at sides, at back a triple reel lug. Coarse brown clay with considerable mica and black and white grit; traces of brown surfacing; mouldmade.

Cf. Olynthus, XIII, pl. 249, 1026, 1028, 1029, 1034; the fabric similar, as also the strap handles, not common on mortars; on these examples the rim is rounded on top, not collared.
