Broad strap handle of large vase with horizontal shoulder, attached at curve of shoulder below, arching in towards neck and probably tucked under rim above. Torch painted on handle: long grip with bulbous lower end, flaring out above into ten branches with white points or flames at ends. Marked at intervals with white horizontal lines.

White fillets hang from torch. Shiny black glaze outside and inside.
