Triton?

Base of chalice, trace of torso, and acanthus skirt preserved; partly restored.

Trace of lower right side of torso of figure, below which is thick, twisted belt or sash from which hangs acanthus skirt. Three lines of painted decoration on torso. Acanthus skirt consists of two layers of acanthus leaves, originally picked out in paint (now mostly missing). Edge of hole for spout through acanthus skirt is visible inside. Black to brown glaze inside and outside, mostly missing.
