Fragment from nearly horizontal shoulder of large, closed vessel.

Star pattern consisting of two long, incised strokes bordered by white dots crossed in an X, with short incised strokes between. White dots prolong line of short strokes and one extra line of white dots is inserted at two o'clock. Additional lines of white dots at left and right. Hard, grainy, light red fabric (10R 6/6) with a few small white inclusions and very little mica; grainy, dark red glaze mottled to black.
