One handle, over half of rim and foot, and large part of lower body restored.
Foot in three degrees, with no scraped groove between lower two moldings; beveled resting surface. Two scraped grooves at junction of neck and body and below rim. Tiny bearded relief masks at base of handles. Neck: grapevine running right. Undulating white main stem; leaves and tendrils accented with rows of dots and white dot rosettes.
Shoulder: five alternating panels of checkerboard and concentric rectangles, with rectangles at center. Painted circle around each handle attachment. Fine, slightly micaceous pale fabric (7.5YR 7/4); dull red glaze, with one black patch, peeling; miltos.
Fabric, shape, shape of handles and masks at bases are unusual; possibly an import.
