Foot and lower body, parts of handles and wall, and most of rim restored; stem and foot restored, possibly incorrectly, on analogy with Classical bell-kraters.

Body convex below, concave above. Three scraped grooves on wall: below rim, above and below handle attachments. Widely flaring rim.

Horizontal handles, round in section, curving up. Upper register of painted decoration: grapevine running right. Thick, irregular stem; leaves on stems alternate with white dot rosettes. Lower register: five panels of alternating checkerboards and concentric rectangles, with rectangles at center. Metallic black glaze, reddish brown on lower body; miltos.
