Single fragment, broken all around.

Scraped groove at outer edge of preserved interior surface; groove on exterior wall and offset at edge, possibly beginning of rim. Painted both inside and outside. Inside: ivy garland at left. Stem is two orange lines with white between them. Ivy leaves on stems alternate with white dot rosettes. Spearhead necklace at right, with incised zigzag attaching pendants to band and white dots at tips of pendants.

Between the two motifs hangs a broad fillet outlined in orange and painted white. Outside: olive garland; white dots at leaf tips; two orange lines with white between for stem.

Metallic black glaze; miltos.

Ivy garland similar to that on P 1495 (Agora XXII, no. 408, p. 92, pl. 71 [H--K 12--14?]). For spearhead necklace with incised zigzag cf. 239 and 341.
