Lid, about half preserved, including start of knob. Unglazed and smooth on underside, except for two circles. Incurving rim. P.H. 0.028; est. diam. 0.17. Roberts, Pyxis, p. 51, cat. no. 23, pl. 32:2.
On knob, tongue pattern. On lid, from center out: tongue pattern; chain of upright encircled palmettes and lotuses; on brim stopped-maeander pattern with squares, each with a four-pointed star. On side of rim, wreath; below, egg pattern.
