Danae and the Shower of Gold. Danae (wreathed head, outstretched left arm and hand) reclines to left against a pillow. Behind her is another woman (wreathed head, part of left arm and hand), and at the right break, a little of another figure. Between the figures and the hole, tongue pattern between ridges. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour. White: wreaths; dots above Danae to indicate the rain.
