Fragment, slightly convex, with start of knob. Glazed on underside. Glaze pitted in places on top side. Max. dim. 0.077.
From the center out: egg pattern with dots; women (back of head of one; filleted head, neck with necklace, right forearm with bracelet, and hand of another) both to left. Just to the right of the second is part of a chest (projecting rim) perhaps held by her. Above, hanging fillet with dots. Preliminary sketch. Added clay: fillet of second woman.
Group of the Nuptial Lekanides (ARV2 1498, 12). The scene may have looked much like the one on Tübingen S./10 1665 = E 182 + Florence from this Group (ARV2 1498, 10; Addenda 383).
