Two non-joining fragments of top side, side, and floor, b with stub of handle. H. a) 0.035, b) 0.035; est. diam. 0.10.
On each side of handle, sphinx. The one on fragment a (illustrated) crouches to left and is preserved except for the paw of her raised right foreleg, the tips of her sickle-shaped wings, and a bit of her tail. The one on fragment b sits or crouches to right: all that remains are her hindquarters and tail, most of her bow-shaped wings. Dilute glaze: dots on wing bows.
