Five non-joining fragments c and d of lip and bowl, b and e of bowl, b of one handle, a of floor. Reserved line at rim. Glaze abraded on handle. Max. dim. a) 0.077, b) 0.092, c) 0.092, d) 0.08, e) 0.038; est. diam. of rim 0.22; est. outer diam. of tondo 0.14. H. A. Thompson, Hesperia Suppl. IV, p. 130, fig. 97:b (fragments c -- e); T. B. L. Webster, Hesperia 29, 1960, pl. 67:B 1 (fragment a).

I, comic actor(?). Fragment a preserves the right side of the torso and right arm of a figure standing frontally, wearing a long-sleeved garment. Around the tondo, stopped-maeander pattern with checkerboard-squares, a dot in each reserved square. A--B, komos. Fragment c preserves the head, shoulders, upper torso, and right arm of a youth holding a torch, standing frontally, head to left, a cloak over his left upper arm. He holds a staff in the crook of this arm. Opposite him is the left hand of another figure, who holds a skyphos. Fragment d comes from the other side. It shows most of one youth (back of head, right shoulder and arm, lower legs, and feet missing) standing frontally, looking to right, a skyphos held out in his left hand. Opposite him is the outstretched right arm of another and at the break, the end of a thin object seen horizontally, probably the end of a stick held by this figure. Fragment e preserves the left hip with himation next to it and the thigh of this youth, because the drapery folds do not relate properly to the one on the right of fragment c. Fragments a and b (not illustrated) give a little of the palmette-and-tendril configuration at each handle. Below the figures, reserved line (a). Relief contour: I.
