Floor fragment. Max. dim. 0.067; est. outer diam. of tondo 0.13.

I, man or youth (lower part of legs) to left with streamers or ribbons (a little bit on either side: ends of a fillet[?]). Below, reserved exergue. Around tondo: stopped-maeander pattern. A, men (feet of one; lower drapery and feet of the other), both to left. The one on the right wears a himation. The one on the left seems to rest his left foot against the bottom of a post. Below, reserved line. Preliminary sketch. White (flaked): streamers.

The Sub-Meidian Cup-Group (Addenda and Corrigenda, p. 393 to ARV2 one 835--841; not in ARV2). 1490 should be by the same hand as 1489. The drawing is similar, as is the maeander pattern around the tondo and the rather large reserved exergue.
