Mended with the missing pieces restored in plaster and painted, notable among them, both handles, all of stem and foot, a large section of the bowl. Reserved line on inside at rim. Rest. H. 0.095; rest. diam. at rim 0.25; outer diam. of tondo 0.172.

I, griffin attacking a deer. What remain of the griffin are its wings, ear, and one forepaw; of the deer, only a bit of its body, one hind leg, and one forehoof. At the bottom, a bit of terrain. Reserved exergue. Around the tondo, stopped-maeander pattern with checkerboard-squares. A--B, three youths, each dressed in a himation. On one side (illustrated), most of one youth except for his back, to right, holding a discus or tympanon decorated with a cross and four dots, preceded by another facing a third (head, shoulders, part of drapery missing) who holds what looks like a pick in his right hand (a bit of the handle, one end of pick). Between them is an object that appears to be an aryballos suspended (there are no strings). On the other side, upper part of a youth to right holding something in his right hand (a large alabastron[?]), a little of the drapery of the youth in front of him, and most of the third youth (part of face and drapery missing) who faces. Between the first and second there is an object that looks like an aryballos. Encircled palmette configuration at handles. Below, reserved line.
