I, warrior (small of back, buttocks, lower right calf and foot, a bit of drapery) crouching to left. Behind him is the end of his spear. Below at the edge of the tondo:

Our warrior probably looked very much like the one in the tondo of Amsterdam inv. 2232 (ARV2 94, 111), except that his right hand, which holds the spear, was probably overlapped by his body.

The Euergides Painter (ARV2 94, 112). Not from the same cup as 1530.
