I, hoplitodromos. Hoplite (head, back, soles of feet, and right fingers missing) to right. He is nude except for greaves, and he holds a round shield on his left arm. The rim of the shield is incised (compass-drawn). Inscribed in front of him:
(Hippomedon[?]. See ARV2 111, ---.) Reserved line for tondo border. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour. Red: inscription.
