Fragment a (illustrated) preserves the face and beard of a man to left, and on the far left at the break, part of a phiale held by someone opposite him. At the upper left, stream of liquid being poured. Fragment c gives some drapery that looks like it covers the shoulder of a figure. White or red: liquid.

The position of the man in relation to that of the phiale and the upward tilt of his head suggest that he is seated.
