Warrior leaving home. Fragment a preserves the head and a little of the drapery of a woman standing to right. She probably faces the warrior on fragment b (head with low-crested Corinthian helmet pushed back, rim of shield). The character of the glaze suggests that the two fragments come from the same side of the krater. On rim, laurel wreath to left. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour.
