Mended with most of trefoil mouth, part of body restored in plaster and painted. Wash on inside. H. 0.113; diam. 0.086. Choes and Anthesteria, p. 90, cat. no. 226, fig. 108.

Komos. At the left, a youth (part of head, right hand, legs, and feet) wearing a long chiton and holding a lyre (sound box, most of one arm missing) in his left hand, strides toward a pair of youths (illustrated), who move away, arms around each other. Part of the face and right arm of the left and most of the lower legs of each are missing. The two seem to share a cloak, and the right one holds a chous in his outstretched left hand. Then comes the last youth (most of head, part of body, right foot missing) moving to right, looking back, a lighted torch in his right hand. Around the head of each is a fillet. Above, ivy wreath, the leaves in thick paint. Below, egg pattern with dots. Relief contour. White: vine; flames of torch. Added clay with trace of gilding: fillets; tips of arms and crosspiece of lyre.
