Wall fragment with start of return. Max. dim. 0.069. Choes and Anthesteria, p. 92, cat. no. 245, fig. 176.

At the left is the forehead of a woman, before her a torch that she carries, then the head of another woman who holds a tympanon, both to right, facing a youth who sits to left, a himation over his left arm and around the small of his back. His right arm is outstretched; in his raised left hand he holds a wreathed chous. Behind him is another youth (legs mostly missing), nude but for a himation draped like that of the first. He moves to right, looking back, a torch (shaft) in his left hand. Around the head of each male is a fillet; the woman has a sakkos. Above the figures, wreath with berries. Preliminary sketch. Added clay: fillets; dot at top of tympanon; two dots on sakkos; berries. White: woman's flesh; wreath.
