Three non-joining fragments, a of lower wall and ring base, b -- c of wall. Streaky, dull, brownish black glaze on inside. P.H. a) 0.125; max. dim. b) 0.075, c) 0.028. Choes and Anthesteria, p. 87, cat. no. 214, fig. 77.

Fragment a (illustrated) shows a laver on a stand with a nude youth (head, shoulders missing) coming up to it from the right. Behind him, part of another (legs, a bit of drapery). At the left, a woman (drapery). Fragment b shows a woman (part of draped torso, left arm) seated to left on a rock. Fragment c preserves a bit of drapery. Below the figures, egg pattern with dots. White: laver and stand; something projecting from it on the left: arm of woman(?). The woman on fragment a and the rock on b were probably in added color, which has completely flaked because there is no interior drawing.
