Description: | From a krater, dark dark brown on buff. ADDENDA 2018: Three non-joining sherds to the same krater with a plastic band with incised decoration, but no other preserved features. The exterior features a curvilinear motif that may best be interpreted as cuttlefish. The interior of one sherd has a splash of paint, but it does not seem to form a band and may be accidental. The paint is thick, evenly applied, and fired dark brown. There are no traces of use wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 282; Furumark Motif 1: 21 | |
