Title:   Statuette of Athena on Base

Description:   The moulded rectangular base broken in two pieces; most of the right arm of the figure missing; no feet preserved. The right forearm broken, but the hand, holding an owl, preserved. Features worn.
Standing figure, dressed in sleeved chiton, himation and aegis, with high crested helmet. Left arm, as preserved, outstretched at level of shoulder.
Base missing.
Context:   Found in going through the mud.

Handling:   Store in ziplock polyethylene bag and in area with 40% r.h. or lower.
Use cotton or latex gloves when handling.
