Title:   Fragmentary Cup

Description:   Mended from two pieces. About half the body and base preserved; the rim broken away, also the lower edge of the foot.
Small high flaring base, reverse-curved, set off from wall by a moulded ring. Deep body with sharply flaring walls, turning at the top towards a vertical rim.
Pale greenish glass, heavily oxidized and giving a marblized effect.
Context:   Roman house B, room 2, pocket at edge of floor.
