Description:   Inscribed fragment.

Fragment ΟΕ 199a (a), mended from two pieces.
Inscribed faces only preserved.
Fragment ΑΑ 29 (c), a non-joining fragment, mended from two pieces, whoch preserves the back, bottom and left side of the stele.
The left side shows anathyrosis; reused as threshold and back cut down.
Twenty-six lines of the inscription preserved.
Bluish pentelic marble.
ADDENDA These fragments belong to a copy of IG II2, no. 1611, ca. 357/6 B.C., a catalogue of ships and their paraphernalia (other fragments, now in Epigraphical Museum, found in Piraeous.
Belongs with I 3227.
Notes:   c) (ΑΑ 29) Q-R 18
Context:   a) (ΟΕ 199a) and b) (ΟΕ 199b), found in disturbed filling beneath exedra to the west of Metroon. It is impossible to say whether it was placed there by the builders of the exedra.
c) (ΑΑ 29), found in the wall of the modern house 647/4, outside the Market Square, to the southeast.
