Title:   Grave Monument
Category:   Inscriptions
Description:   Inscribed grave monument.
A solid block of marble with mouldings around top and bottom, obviously made to resemble a sarcophagos. Most of the top moulding chipped away, and the lower moulding at the back. The whole lower left corner, at the back, is missing.
In the face of the break are several (6) drilled holes, suggesting that there was originally a patch here. There are traces of a boss in the center of the back.
In modern times the stone has been inverted and hollowed out as a basin.
A hole through into the top has been stopped up with lead (or is this original?); and a small hole has been cut through the center of the inscribed face.
Inscription on one of the ends, just below the top moulding.
Two lines of the inscription preserved.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in the wall of the modern house 636α/4 [636/4 on Vrysaki map], over the area of the East Stoa.
