Title: | Marble Fragment
Category: | Inscriptions
Description: | Inscribed fragment. Inscribed face only preserved. The diagonal cutting across the upper right corner is clearly a cutting and not a break, but in all probability post-dates the inscription. Seems to be a treaty with some Cretan town, with terms "like those between Athens and Knossos". Hymettian marble. ADDENDA Does not belong with IG II2, no. 254. Taken to the Epigraphical Museum on 24th. November 1954; returned on the same day.
