Title:   Honorary Monument Fragments

Description:   Fragments from an honorary stele.
The larger fragment a, Ι (iota) 37, preserves the top and back surfaces. Along the upper edge a moulding has been chiseled away.
Inscribed below moulding. Below, two wreaths, each enclosing two lines of inscription preserved, and part of a third wreath.
Fragment b: Ι 41, most of one wreath and traces of two others; in the preserved wreath, two lines of inscription preserved, and below two lines more.
Fragment c: Ι 233, found later, the lower right side, with a moulding broken away near the bottom, is preserved.
Fragment d: a small fragment from the top, preserves part of a wreath and two lines of inscription.
Fragment e: on top surface dowel hole with pour channel. Right side preserves edge and projecting band. On face a wreath with inscription.
Hymettian marble.
ADDENDA Joins with I 1315, I 3457 and I 345; Victor dedication ca. 130 B.C.

Fragment e), brought in from pre-war marble pile from south side of section T.
