Description:   Inscribed fragments of base. From a circular monument.
Fragment ΟΑ 260 a), inscribed face only preserved.
Above the smooth dressed inscribed band, the stone is pick-dressed. Below, the face makes an oblique angle with the inscribed band.
Part of the signature of Kritias and Nesiotes.
Two letters remain.
Fragment ΖΖ 42 b), a small part of the bottom surface preserved (?). Two faces, meeting at an oblique angle. The upper face is inscribed on a smooth band along its lower edge; above, the surface is neatly and smoothly picked.
One line of the inscription preserved, with two letters.
Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA These fragments belong with IG II2, no. 533 (Lolling-Wolters no. 80), in the Epigraphical Museum. Taken to the museum by Miss L.H. Jeffrey, April 1947, fragment a) was found to join to the right of the museum piece; while fragment b) belongs a little to the left of it.
Permanently transferred to the Epigraphical Museum on October 1980.
