Description:   Inscribed fragment.
The left part of a crowning member for a monument with recessed niche, and with horizontal cornice, not pediment.
Broken at right; top roughly picked with front sloping down and small acroteria, of which only stubs preserved, along front edge.
Upper moulding on left side broken away. Smooth finished bottom surface, with projecting panel at back, which ends 0.115m. from left edge, presumably indicating line of pilaster at left.
Dowel hole on bottom surface at left; shallow circular cutting on top at edge of break at right.
Very rough picked back; possibly original surface.
Inscription on fascia below front moulding.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in the wall of the Byzantine House I east of the Great Drain, in the industrial area.
