Description:   Inscribed fragment.
Fragment of an inscribed base with cutting in top for a stele.
Some of upper left corner preserved; moulding around top.
On inscribed face, at left, part of a crown; near right of fragment, start of a second crown. Inscribed in first crown.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   Found in the long late Roman wall east of the Panathenaic Way, just south of the railway.
