Description:   Inscribed fragment of small round altar with inscription.
Broken behind; moulding at top and bottom damaged.
In upper surface a broad shallow depression, much blackened. In bottom a square dowel hole at center, with two pour channels.
Traces of an inscription on the side, with two letters.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in the long late Roman wall east of the Panathenaic Way, at the south end of the Stoa of Attalos.
