Top flat, dressed with toothed chisel. Left edge preserved near top only; dressed with toothed chisel. Back smooth, worn from later use.
Broken at right and below, also at left except near top.
"POLETAI" record; sale of confiscated property.
The inscribed face badly worn, particularly near middle.
Traces of red in some of the letters; stoichedon.
Pentelic marble.

Context:   Found in modern house wall, east of the Stoa of Attalos.
