Description:   Inscribed block.
The block lies on its back, with the inscribed face up, so that a good part of it is covered by the block above.
The whole right hand side of the inscription is weathered and worn away, as well as the right side of the block (perhaps by fire?); 0.50m. from the top a deep beam cutting 0.23X0.17X0.10m. deep has been made in the rough picked; the top picked smooth.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   Found built into a tower of the late Roman Fortification, at the northwest corner of the Library of Pantainos.
