Description: | A: Herakles seated on a rock facing left. In front of him a large tripod from which a curly line rises (smoke or snake ?). Cf. IL 399 and others, for type. Note trace of scroll at lower left, outside the border of dots, a survival from an earlier impression, over which this one was stamped. Earlier impression: Athena moving to her left with shield on left arm; olive tree to her right; in field right a snake. B: Only faint traces of impession: standing draped figure facing left with right arm outstretched. Perhaps same as IL 399.
Notes: | Five more tokens with side A same as side A of this token, side B illegible, from same fill, not catalogued.
