Description: | Complete. Herringbone on rim; plain concave discus with four filling holes; handle solid, triple grooved above, double below. Palm leaf-shaped on reverse, with double bounding lines starting from two small circles at the base of the handle. Within, the signature "Σ Ω", with one small circle above and two below. Pinkish-buff clay, somewhat blackened on top; the surface peeling. Type XXVIII of Corinth collection. Cf. L 1029, etc. | |
