Title:   Discus Fragment of Lamp

Description:   A bit of the rim, with impressed ovules, and most of the figure of Hermes on the discus preserved. He stands facing slightly to his left, with the left leg bent, and he looks back over his shoulder, to his right.
In his left hand he holds the caduceus; his right hand, extended, is missing, as are his feet.
Unglazed.
Fine yellow-buff clay.
Type XXVII of Corinth collection.
Late 2nd.-3rd. centuries.
