Description: | Small fragment of rim and nozzle. Handle broken away. Wide rim; flat at the outside, sloping sharply to the center at the inside, with a reserved band at the inner edge of the flat part. Body curving; making an angle with the rim. Nozzle shallow; wick hole encroaching on rim. Thin, rather dull, black glaze, covering (so far as may be judged from the smallness of the fragment), only the rim, the inside, and the vicinity of the nozzle. Attic clay; with a reddish slip. Type IV of Corinth collection, type 21D of Agora collection. | |
